On April 8, 2009, the DHCR Office of Rent Administration sent a notice to owners who had filed Maximum Base Rent (MBR) applications in the previous cycle (2008-09) advising them of the procedures for the 2010-11 cycle. The notice also included a summary of pending violations. After the notice was sent out it was determined that due to a computer error the violation information listed was incorrect in that it was placed under the wrong headings in the notice.
An amended notice was sent on April 15, 2009 with the correct violation information and owners were advised to disregard the previous notice.
