Rent Registration Deadline
Last day for filing Annual Apartment Registration (form RR – 2A) and Annual Registration Summaries (form RR – 2S) with DHCR.

Annual Water and Sewer Payment Due
Last day for paying without incurring a penalty, for buildings billed on a frontage basis.

August 1
File J-51 Applications
For tax abatements and exemptions with HPD’s J-51 office. Third quarter filing period is August 1 – September 15th.

August 8 & 15
RSA Offices close at 3pm.

August 22 & 29
RSA Offices CLOSED.

September 1
Labor Day
City, State and Federal holiday.

September 2
Income and Expense Statement Deadline
Owners of income producing properties must file Income and Expense Statements (form RPIE-OI) electronically with the Dept. of Finance. Properties with a final 2008-2009 actual assessed valuation of $40,000 or less are not required but are encouraged to file. Owners who have not filed an exemption form may be required to do so.

September 15
Annual Elevator Inspection Day
Qualified inspectors have 5 days to provide you with a completed inspection form (ELV – 3 Revised 11 - 88). Owners then have 10 days to file this form (an original plus 2 copies) with the Dept. of Buildings local borough office. Sept. 30th is the last day for filing.

Personal Estimated Income Tax Due
Third payment for 2008 is due for Federal, State and City income taxes.

J-51 Deadline
To file with HPD for the quarter ending today.

September 20
Commercial Rent Tax Return and Payment Due
Commercial rent or occupancy tax return to be filed and tax return to be filed and tax paid for the first quarter ending August 31.
